The Union County Crime Stoppers Board was established to encourage Union County residents, who might otherwise be reluctant to share first hand information they might have pertaining to criminal activity, to come forward and report that activity to law enforcement.
Crime Stoppers offers rewards of up to $10,000 for information resulting in the arrest and indictment of criminal offenders. Tipsters never need to reveal their names, whether they call the twenty four hour hotline number 908-654-TIPS (8477), or submit a tip via this website. As former Chairman Ron Posyton said, "We don't need your name, we just need your information!"
The Union County Police, in cooperation with the Union County Prosecutor's Office and Union County Police Chiefs Association, receives and coordinates all tips submitted to the Crime Stoppers program.
